Isa Tara Guha is a former international cricketer of England cricket team. She is of Kolkata Bengali descent whose batting style is right-handed, and bowling style is right arm fast medium. Isa played with the World-Cup winning team in 2009 and also participated in the 2005 Women’s Cricket World Cup in South Africa. She writes a column for the BBC Sports website.

Isa is the daughter of Barun Guha and Roma Guha. Her test debut against India came in 2002 at the age of 17 when she got honored as BBC Asian Network Sports Personality of the Year. Isa Guha joined ITV Sport in April 2012 and co-presented the ITV4‘s coverage of IPL. She took five wickets for 22 runs against New Zealand in2004 which is her best bowling figure in One Day Internationals.
Isa Guha’s career best bowling figures are five wickets for 40 runs in her seventh Test match against Australia in February 2008. She took nine wickets in this match winning the player of the match award, and the England team won the Ashes series. ICC Women’s One Day International rankings of 31 December 2008 ranked Guha as the number one bowler. Isa retired from international cricket on 9 March 2012, but she still plays county cricket for Berkshire.
