Ravindra Jadeja-Wiki, Date of Birth, Biography
Ravindrasinh Anirudhsinh Jadeja is an All-Rounder who plays as a left-handed middle-order batsman and slow left-arm orthodox bowler. He represents Saurashtra in first-class cricket and the Gujarat Lions in the IPL.

He is the son of Anirudhsinh Jadeja and late Lata Jadeja. He got married to Riva Solanki in 2016. Ravindra is ranked as the No.1 bowler in ODI Cricket by the ICC in August 2013. He is the fourth Indian bowler after Kapil Dev, Maninder Singh, and Anil Kumble to be ranked No. 1.
Ravindra Jadeja Debut into International Cricket
Ravindra made his first-class debut in the 2006–07 Duleep Trophy. He became the first Indian player to score three triple centuries in first-class matches. He caught the attention of the national selectors who picked him for the ODI series in Sri Lanka in 2009. He made his ODI debut on 8 February 2009 in the final match of this series where he scored 60 runs, although Sri Lanka won the match.
Ravindra Jadeja IPL career
Rajasthan Royals selected Ravindra Jadeja for the first season of the Indian Premier League in 2008. He scored 135 runs from 14 matches with the strike rate of 131.06. His highest score was 36 against Kings XI Punjab. He played a crucial role in the victory of Rajasthan Royals over Chennai Super Kings in the final match. In 2009 IPL, he scored 295 runs at a strike rate of 110.90 and conceded less than 6.5 runs per over. Shane Warne, the captain of Rajasthan Royals, appreciated Jadeja for his performance.
Jadeja could not participate in the 2010 IPL because of a ban arising from contractual irregularities. He was bought by the Kochi Tuskers Kerala for $950,000 for the 2011 IPL. After that, he was bought by Chennai Super Kings for $2 million in the 2012 IPL player auction.
Ravindra won the Man of the Match award in the second match of the 2012 IPL tournament against Deccan Chargers where he scored 48 runs off 44 balls and took one wicket for 38 runs in 4 overs.
Jadeja played for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2015. He bowled an excellent spell of 4/11 against Rajasthan Royals.
